St David’s Day Celebrations with Chris Coleman
To mark St David’s day here at Bobath Wales we celebrated in style with one of the country’s most famous sportsmen and managers – the highly regarded Chris Coleman OBE.
An Evening with Chris Coleman event presented by Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales was held at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff and began with a warm welcome from the wonderful Cardiff Arms Park Male Choir. Before sitting down to a delicious three course meal guests were standing for the national anthem, creating an unforgettable atmosphere to kick start the evening.
Following on from the St David’s Day themed three course menu, the highly anticipated Q&A took place with Chris Coleman and was hosted by journalist and presenter Frances Donovan. Questions were opened up to the room, with some guests choosing not to ask a questions but to instead thank Chris Coleman for being such an inspiration following the Welsh football teams superb performance at last years Euros.
The night ended with a raffle and silent auction which proved extremely successful, especially with our freshly signed footballs by Chris Coleman himself!
On behalf of everyone at Bobath Children’s Therapy Wales we would like to thank all guests for their support and allowing us to continue to provide specialist therapy to children in Wales with cerebral palsy. This year we are celebrating 25 years of providing specialist Bobath therapy in Wales and to mark this special occasion we will be hosting a 25th Anniversary Ball at the City Hall Cardiff on Friday 9th June.
