Admin & Appointments Support (sickness cover)

Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales is an outstanding charity that offers therapy and support to families whose children have cerebral palsy. We are seeking temporary part time Admin support to assist with our appointments service. Please note this is a fixed term sickness cover post for 3 months, which may be extended.

Purpose of role:

  • Support the manager to plan and offer clinical appointments to children who have cerebral palsy
  • Use internal systems set up for this purpose including manual records, database records and spreadsheets
  • Prepare appointment letters & timetables
  • Plan appointments for different models of service as required
  • Liaise with parents/carers of children who have been offered appointments, usually by phone, to ensure optimum attendance; work with them to fulfil their requirements for dates/ times etc. wherever possible
  • Maintain and update children’s files and relevant paperwork
  • Liaise with the Therapy Manager and Admin colleagues as required
  • Work with therapy/management to solve any problems/ queries that arise
  • Support line manager with any other administration tasks as required

Hours of work: Part-time, 16 hours per week over 4 days

Salary: £6656 (£8 per hour)
