Bobath Wales will receive Toy Appeal donations from St David’s Dewi Sant Shopping Centre during the festive season.
As part of the annual St David’s Toy Appeal, Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales is one of 20 charities who’ll receive toys donated by the public.
From November 9th until 22nd December, St David’s Dewi Sant is asking customers to buy an extra gift for a child in need and drop it off at the in-centre Donation Stations. From there, a team of festive helpers will safely deliver gifts in time for Christmas.
Steven Madeley, general manager for St David’s, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to support Bobath Wales and help bring some Christmas magic to the children they represent. Christmas is such an exciting time for us all as we give and receive gifts with family and loved ones, but for many children across South Wales this is something they aren’t able to enjoy.
“We are asking our generous shoppers who are coming to the centre to buy gifts and stocking fillers to pick up something extra that will make a big difference to a child in need.”
Since it launched in 2015, generous shoppers have donated over 12,500 gifts which is incredible.
Claire Brown, our Events and Business Development Co-Ordinator here at Bobath Wales said “We’re delighted to be one of the charities benefiting from the Toy Appeal and wants to thank all of those who have donated for supporting it. A big thanks to St David’s Centre and to Capital FM for getting us involved and helping to make this Christmas even more special for the children we help.”
Shoppers who want to take part can head to one of two Donation Stations at St David’s, the first located near the Clogau store on the lower level and the second near Watches of Switzerland. There they will be able to collect a Christmas treat and an exclusive 10 per cent off voucher for purchases at Hamleys.
