We wanted to celebrate Trustees Week to thank our trustees who give up their time to support us.
Trustees’ Week is a time for charities across the UK to celebrate the hard work and dedication of the people who make big decisions and keep the charity running effectively.
Frank Holmes, the Chair of our Trustee Board, has been involved with us for 15 years. He is a founder partner of Gambit Corporate Finance LLP and heads up the Finance and Fundraising Committees for Bobath Wales. Frank visited our Therapy Centre, met some of our amazing families and was inspired to help.
He said that “People should definitely support Bobath Wales as theirs is the only centre in Wales dedicated to children with cerebral palsy. Plenty more of these children could benefit from the support given by supporters. I’d really recommend finding out more about this fantastic charity and getting involved!”
Our Bobath Wales trustees also include:
…And our youngest trustee, Ieuan Coombes. Ieuan, a Teaching Assistant from Newport, got involved with Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales because we helped with his development when he was younger. What he learned at the Centre has enabled him to enjoy an amazing quality of life. He says “I wanted to give something back and ensure other children with cerebral palsy have access to the same high quality care that I enjoyed. The charity helps children with cerebral palsy achieve their potential and go on to lead happy and independent lives.”
