Our therapists, Sally, Renee, Therese, Jenny (Centre Director), Rina, Dawn, Gosia, Helen and Melissa are involved in the following:
Many of the team are also involved in renowned conferences, committees and advisory boards on a national and international level. So, not only are they giving valuable support and guidance to children who have cerebral palsy and their families, they’re helping to change the landscape of treatment options too.
Two of these recognised events are coming up:

What: “Dyskinesia Update: What is new in measurement and management?”
This session will look at dyskinetic cerebral palsy in terms of recognition, discrimination and measurement as well as medical interventions and communication. We are excited to welcome Professor Bernard Dan and Dr Elegast Monbaliu to our Centre as well as Christine Barber from the Bobath Centre in London who will be talking about the Bobath approach to children with this condition.

What: EBTA is a network of Bobath teaching teams, comprising of over 200 Bobath Tutors across Europe. This education event gets everyone together for a fully-packed programme across the three days.
Abstract submissions: EBTA invites attendees to submit abstracts for oral and visual poster presentations which will be seen/heard throughout the three days. Read more about submitting an abstract for the event here.
