Last year, hundreds of delicious cakes were baked and bought in aid of Bake for Bobath. As a result, together we raised a record breaking £8,000!
This year, Bake for Bobath is back and cakier than ever. Taking place throughout the month of March, we are encouraging everyone across Wales (and beyond!) to whip up some tasty baked goods in aid of Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales.
This year, we are delighted to announce that Bake for Bobath 2019 is kindly sponsored by Harding Evans Solicitors.
“We are delighted to be sponsoring Bake for Bobath this year” Says Joy Phillips, Chief Executive of Harding Evans Solicitors “Bake for Bobath is one of Bobath’s many excellent fundraising initiatives and one that our staff have always enthusiastically got involved in. Having supported Bobath for many years, we have seen first-hand the vital care that they provide to children with cerebral palsy and we are thrilled to be playing our part in helping make a difference to these families across Wales.”
Bake for Bobath is just one of the many fundraising events and activities in which you can get involved to help us raise the £1.5M needed every year to keep our Centre running so that we can continue to provide specialist Bobath therapy to children across Wales who have cerebral palsy, like Denny.
“We decided to organise a Bake for Bobath Cake Sale before my son’s first session at Bobath” recalls Mum Jessica “It was a huge hit with the community, together we raised over £500! Since the bake sale, Denny has received two blocks of therapy and has come on so much with the help of the staff at Bobath Wales. We can’t thank them enough!”
