Parachute_1The sky’s the limit! Experience the free fall and jump out of an aeroplane for Bobath. That’s 12,000 foot’s worth of fundraising! No experience is necessary as you will receive a full days training and if you raise the minimum sponsorship of just £395 you can jump for FREE!

For more information  on how to take part in a skydive for Bobath Wales please email fundraising@bobathwales.org or call 02920 522600 for an information pack!

Paddling

South Wales Dragon Boat Race

This really is a fun-filled and action packed day for family, friends and colleagues, whether you are in a boat or cheering on your team!

Help us to rouse the dragons in our Wakening of the Dragon ceremony at the start of the race day! There will be refreshments and other activities available throughout the day for all of the family to enjoy!

Where is it?

Cosmeston Lakes on Saturday 24th June 2017

How does it work?

The racing takes place over one day and each team will take part in a minimum of 3 races over a 250 metre stretch of water, before the teams with the fastest times go through to the Grand Final! All equipment needed throughout the day including life jackets and the dragon boat is provided! All you need is a team! Each boat needs 10 paddlers and a drummer to keep the rhythm! So if you think you can rustle up a team of 11 passionate paddlers then register your team today!

Who can enter?

Anyone! Maybe you are a company or part of a group or club that could make up a team! All we ask is that you are over 12 years of age (children under 16 will require parental consent) and can paddle or beat a drum.

Sponsorship

This year we need to raise over £1.3m to run the Centre and provide ongoing specialist Bobath therapy to over 570 children in Wales who have cerebral palsy, so you can see why your support is so valuable to us. For more infomation fill in the form below or call the Fundraising Team on 02920 522600.

Sponsorship

In order to register a team for the event we require a non-refundable team registration fee of £330 per boat (£30 per crew member). In addition we ask that each team seeks a minimum sponsorship of £500 (only £49 per crew member!). So the total cost per person is £76 for a full day’s fun.
