A Splashing start to Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week!

10/10/2011

Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week 2011 started with a splash this year as over 100 Welly Walkers took part in the Aberdare and Cardiff Welly Walks!

Both walks started with a energetic 'Welly Warm Up' to Katie Perry's 'Firework' in which everyone had lots of fun. The brave walkers then battled the elements and walked the route around Dare Valley Coutry Park on Saturday and Roath Park Lake on Sunday, where Lucy Owen kindly started the walk.

A special thank you must be said to the all of the volunteers who helped out at the walks.

Finally, a big thank you to all of the walkers that came along to the Aberdare and Cardiff walks, if you have missed out don't forget that you can put your best foot forward at the Swansea Welly Walk on Saturday 15th October at 10:30 next to the Junction Cafe on Mumbles Road.
