Volunteering to help just seemed the right thing to do so I decided to give it a go. I find it so rewarding knowing that each and every penny raised goes towards providing the therapy needed by the children and keeping the centre open.
John, a Bobath volunteer
Why volunteer and fundraise for the charity?
Simply we need your support. Whatever your background, and however you help, you’ll find that volunteering for Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales is rewarding and fun.
If you speak to people who already volunteer for any organisation, they will probably tell you that they do it because they love it.
Help Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales
Volunteering for us is a great way to make good use of your skills, make new friends, get involved in your local community and gain valuable experience while supporting children in Wales who have cerebral palsy.
We have opportunities for volunteering in one of our Bobath Charity Shops at Llanishen, Crwys Road and Rhiwbina in Cardiff or in our Holton Road shop in Barry. We need volunteers to help with sorting donations, pricing goods, operating the till and generally providing great customer service! If you would to get involved please have a look at the volunteer shop assistant role description below.
We also need volunteers to help fundraising at events and bucket collections throughout the year.
