Aberdare Welly Walk, Dare Valley Country Park

Give it some welly for children who have cerebral palsy and take part in a Welly Walk to raise money for Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales.

 Bobath is asking people to get their boots on and take part in the sponsored Welly Walks which are taking place at three different locations during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 2012. On Saturday 6th October the first of our Welly Walks will take place at Dare Valley Country Park, Aberdare. Later on Saturday 13th October we will be giving it some welly at Roath Park Lake, Cardiff and our final walk on Saturday 21st October will take place in the Mumbles, Swansea. Each of the 2 mile walks will help raise much needed funds to run the centre.

The event will start with a fun 'Welly warm up' at 10:30, the walks will then officially start at 11am. Entrants will receive a free fundraising pack including event details, stickers and balloons on signing up.
