‘Wicked Welly Month’

For the past six years Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales' have celebrated its Cerebral Palsy Awareness Week with a week jam-packed full of events and fundraisers. So much so that this year we have decided to make it a whole month! The month is aimed at increasing understanding and awareness of cerebral palsy throughout Wales, as well as raising vital funds for Bobath Children's Therapy Centre Wales.
Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month would not be possible without the tremendous support of our sponsors, supporters and volunteers.
Join in Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and help us to make a real and positive difference to children in Wales who have cerebral palsy!
We want to have a little fun while we do this and we hope that you can get involved with our wacky welly ideas. So let’s fill our boots for Bobath whilst reminding people of the real facts of cerebral palsy.
We now have the dates for the events of Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month;
6th October - Aberdare Welly Walk, Dare Valley Country Park
13th October - Cardiff Welly Walk, Roath Park Lake
19th October - Bobath Race Night, Lisvane Memorial Hall
21st October - Swansea Welly Walk, Mumbles Road, Swansea Bay
26th October - Corporate Breakfast, St. David’s Hotel and Spa, Cardiff
27th October - Vintage Afternoon Tea, Ararat Baptist Church Hall, Cardiff

Why not make a ‘Splash for Cash’ by holding your own event
Organise your own Welly Walk in the school playground or local area.
Wear your Wellies to school or the office and pay a £1.
Put a Welly on your reception at work and ask colleagues/visitors to fill a welly with spare change
Take part in our decorate a Welly competition
