Meet our Trustees

Frank Holmes
Frank joined the Charity as a Trustee in 2003 and Chairs the Board.

He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and founder partner of Gambit Corporate Finance LLP, where he specialises in succession planning and mid market merger and acquisitions.

Frank’s focus at Bobath is on finance and fundraising.


Chris Barber
Chris is the Director of Therapy Services at The Bobath Centre,London. She is a consultant physiotherapist with many years’ experience of treating children and adults who have cerebral palsy.

Chris works closely with us on recruitment of therapists, clinical training & development, and clinical standards.


Ieuan Coombes
Ieuan is a young adult who has cerebral palsy. He has been coming to the Centre for many years. Ieuan has represented Wales in adapted shot putt and discus competitions and currently works for Morrello Clinic as well as playing in the Ospreys Wheelchair Rugby team.

He has joined the Board as a way of giving something back to the organisation that he says has helped him immensely with his development.


Martin Gush
Martin was an active Bobath Trustee and Treasurer for 9 years between 1999 and 2008. This was prior to Martin moving to Cheltenham to take up a new  Area Retail Banking Director role.

Bobath has always been dear to Martin’s heart and he is delighted to have rejoined the Board of Trustees with effect from January 2015. He’s looking forward to making a significant contribution.


Alison Ivin
Alison is a consultant at Harding Evans Solicitors . She is also the parent of a child who has cerebral palsy.


Stephen Jones
Stephen has been a Trustee since 2003 and serves on the therapy committee. He also takes a close interest in financial matters.

Stephen is Managing Director of Altron Communications Equipment, a medium sized privately owned manufacturing company. He has a background in strategic leadership within manufacturing industries.


Paul Lubas
Paul was one of the founder parents who made it all happen – his daughter Claire who has cerebral palsy had been attending the Bobath Centre in London as a young child, inspiring Paul to work with other parents to set up a centre in Wales.


Cathy White
Cathy is a consultant paediatric neurologist at Singleton Hospital, Swansea. She has been involved with Bobath for several years and provides a strong link to the NHS in Wales.
